I’m going to say that this character is going to be from five years after the point when Avatar Aang defeats Fire Lord Ozai. So, basically, after the third season ends((which hasn’t technically happened yet)).  Complete Character Description Katara stands at a height of five feet and eleven inches. She has a mostly athletic figure, though age has given her a bust a bit too large to fit in with an athletic description. Her hair is a rich, dark chocolate in colour and extends to her mid-back in soft waves. Her eyes are a crisp, silver-blue- surrounded by long, dark lashes. A straight nose extends down her face to sit above very full lips. Her smile would reveal somewhat large, very white, straight teeth. A few freckles, randomly distributed, spot her naturally golden-brown skin. Often Katara is seen wearing shades of blue with white. Occasionally she’ll wear other colours, but white and blue remind her most of her culture and her home.  Personality Katara is normally seen as a compassionate, motherly figure with those she cares for. She is fantastic at anchoring groups together when they seem ready to split and making them work together. She is very strong willed, and, with her strong sense of justice, she will do whatever it takes to make things right- even when those things are dangerous. The young woman is very emotionally driven. She is very expressive and feels others should be as well. There is no fear of weeping, scolding, showing rage, jealousy, or any of those sorts of emotions. She is easily angered if she feels she has been insulted. If she does rage at someone, though, she is not afraid to be the first to apologize. The only times she has been known to hold grudges are when she has been betrayed. Katara is, and has always been, a hard worker. Her ambition for greatness and to do well in the world have propelled her toward mastering waterbending and truly doing whatever good she can manage.  Background When Katara was eight years old, her mother died in a Fire Nation raid. The Southern Raiders from the Fire Nation heard there was one waterbender left in the South Pole after they imprisoned the rest decades earlier. The leader infiltrated the tribe, found Kya, and demanded to know who the last waterbender was. In an effort to protect her daughter, the woman lied and told him she was the last waterbender, sealing her death. At some point in Katara's youth, her father searched all over the South Pole for a waterbending master to teach his daughter, but none could be found. When she was twelve, her father left to fight in the war- leaving Katara, her brother Sokka, and her grandmother to take care of the minuscule Southern Water Tribe. About this time she began to teach herself waterbending because no others in the village knew how. When she was fourteen, she and her brother found the one-hundred-year absent Avatar who was the only one who could save the world from the Fire Nation. Avatar Aang and Katara went to the Northern Water Tribe to learn waterbending from a Master. Sokka went with them to train to be a warrior. While there, Katara was dubbed a Waterbending Master and taught Aang to master the bending of that element. Eventually, they added an earthbending master, Toph, to their crew and became something like a family. Zuko became Aang’s firebending teacher after that, though at some point they had to both relearn firebending together from the last dragons remaining alive. There were many defeats and many victories throughout their companionship, but all were building blocks to help them learn how to accomplish the main goal: defeating Fire Lord Ozai. After Aang accomplished this goal by taking away Ozai's ability to bend, he hooked up with Katara. They were going to get married when he turned eighteen, but she was sucked into the Mirage before that could happen.
